Weigh In Day: Week 13

As I had suspected, I gained this week. 1.6 lbs. I will not be making any excuses for this gain, because I know exactly why it occurred. Today is the beginning of a new week, and I am excited to make some changes this week and see a positive result next Friday.

I will also have a report on how my new Phit n Phat training routines are going. I am getting excited just learning the exercises!! They look very tough, but I think I need a little boot camp action and I am looking forward to it. We have made a goal to work out Monday-Saturday next week. We are going to lump all of our strength sessions into the first 3 days of the week (Corinne says this is okay, because we will be working opposing muscle groups), and then bust out the cardio the following days. I have never done it this way before and I am really looking forward to it!

I can't wait to hear more about the Phit-n-Phat stuff. I am going to have to check it out. Exercise has been my greatest struggle...especially trying to find the time to work it in between work and babies and the rest.

How fantastic that you are getting all this figured out before becoming a mom!

Your renewed excitement about getting back "on program" is motivating me, too. I'm really making it my goal to do the same this week. I might even get some exercise in this week...just for something different.

You know, you and I are within a couple pounds of each other, and we've both been dancing around the same 5 pounds or so...funny, huh?

I have a feeling that this is the week we are both going to make it happen.

Hi Em, I actually saw your post on sisterskinny today and wanted to come read your blog. I have tears in my eyes and I don't even know you. I think when tragic things happen with a loss of a someone elses loved one you always try to put yourself in that person place and somehow for some reason try to imagine what it would be like to lose a parent or a spouse. Actually, yesterday was a happy day for me b/c it was my 4 year wedding anniversary. Hmm, a sad day for one person and a happy day for another, I guess that is what makes the world go around.

Anyway, on a much happier note, I wanted to tell you that I am a part of Corinne's phit-n-phat team too. I have been with her for 10 weeks now and I love it. You know she is changing some things with her personal training soon and it is going to be a lot less expensive each month and you can chat on-line with others that use her system and have adopted her eating philosphy and much more. It looks like you have a hard core plan set out for the week. YOU CAN DO IT!! ---Dawn
